Migrate your Pipedrive data easily with our simple and efficient import tool
Switching from Pipedrive to Laylah is really easy.
All you need to do is extract your data from Pipedrive and drop it into our import tool specifically designed to handle Pipedrive data.
Export your data from Pipedrive
Here's how the Pipedrive environment administrator can export data:
- Go to Tools and apps, then select Export data.
- Individually select the data types to be exported, such as:
- Peoples
- Organization
- Activity
- Notes
- Your export files will appear in the "Generated exports" list. To download the file, click on the cloud icon in the "Available until" column.
- Gather all the files in a folder and give it a name like "Pipedrive Export" for example.
- Compress the folder you've just created.
Et voilà, the first step is complete.
Import data into your Laylah environment
The final step is to import the Pipedrive data from the compressed file you created in the previous step. Here's how to do it:
- Click on Data, then on Import in the left-hand vertical menu.
- Click on Add an import, then on View details on the Pipedrive tile.
- Click on the Configure button, enter a description if you wish and click on Create.
- As soon as you see confirmation that the import has been created, click on the Close button.
- Click on the import you've just created, then on the Upload new file button in the file area.
- Drag the file you've created, or use the Browse button to find the file on your computer. Then click on Upload.
- As soon as you see that the uploaded file status is set to Uploaded, click on the Start import button.
Et voilà, import is on the way.
A finishing touch to enhance your import
The last step is not mandatory, but it can be very useful, especially if contacts or tasks were associated with several users in Pipedrive.
Simply associate former Pipedrive users with users in your Laylah environment. Here's how:
- From the import you've just done, display the Automatic assignment zone at the bottom of the page.
- Click on the + in the Assigned column and enter the name of the Laylah user associated with the former Pipedrive user.
Et voilà!
Users are automatically associated with contacts and tasks.
