Configuring the AdvisorFlow integration

Easily import and synchronize client data received from AdvisorFlow in your Laylah environment

Integration with AdvisorFlow lets you import and synchronize much of the customer data retrieved by Advisor Flow forms.

Data is automatically synchronized daily from AdvisorFlow to Laylah.

Configuring the Advisor Flow source

Duration: about 2 minutes.

What you need

Contact AdvisorFlow at hello@advisorflow.ca to obtain your Client Id and Client Secret, and tell them it's for integration with Laylah. 

Steps

  1. Click on the Data button in the main menu, then on Integration in the left-hand menu.
  2. Click on Add integration, then select AdvisorFlow.
  3. Click on the Configure button and enter your account information:
    1. Enter a description and click on Start: The description allows you to distinguish this configuration from those of your colleagues.
    2. Enter username: Email address of your AdvisorFlow profile. 
    3. Enter password: password for your AdvisorFlow profile. 
    4. Enter Client ID: Provided by AdvisorFlow.
    5. Enter Client Secret: Provided by AdvisorFlow.
  4. Click on Test credentials and wait for confirmation.

Et voilà!

Initial synchronization of all contacts is launched automatically.

Thereafter, a daily synchronization is automatically performed to retrieve the most up-to-date data.

List of information transferred from AdvisorFlow to Laylah

Here is a list of information imported from AdvisorFlow to Laylah.

For the customer and spouse

  • Name
  • Date of birth
  • Email
  • Address 
  • Cell phone, work and fax
  • Employer
    • Occupation
    • Employer since
    • Employer until
  • Social security number
  • Unused RRSP and TFSA contributions
  • Financial objectives for the current year, the next 3 years and the long term
  • Children
    • Name 
    • Date of birth
    • Parent-child relationship with the client

Other fields will be added to the feed as soon as possible.
