Update connection information for a source

Find out how to update your source connection information so that your data is always synchronized.

Your source password may change for security reasons.  It is therefore necessary to update it in the source configuration.  Here's how to do it.

Update connection information for a source

1. Select the source for which the update is required in one of two ways:
   • Click on the source in the Dashboard Data Sources widgets.
   • Click on the Data button in the main menu and then on the source.
2. Click on the Options button and select the Reconfigure option.
   
   
3. Enter description, user name and password:
   
   
   The description distinguishes this source from others in the list of sources.
4. Click on the button Test credentials.
5. A confirmation window will inform you if the connection information has been accepted by the source.
