Configure Omnisend integration

Turn your Laylah contacts into a powerful marketing database with Omnisend integration. You'll gain in efficiency, precision and impact, while simplifying your Email campaign management.

Integration with Omnisend lets you send mass e-mails to your customers directly from your Laylah contact list.

Thanks to the labels added to your Laylah contact files, you can easily create targeted mailing groups in Omnisend.

Once integration is activated, your contact list is automatically synchronized with Omnisend. Any changes in Laylah (additions, deletions, updates) are reflected in your Omnisend account in real time.

Configure Omnisend integration

  1. Log in to your Omnisend account in the same browser you use with Laylah.  Leave the Omnisend tab open.
  2. In Laylah, click on Data, then on Integrations.
  3. Follow the authentication steps to connect the two platforms.

🎉  Et voilà ! It's as simple as that.

Particularities of integration

  • Only "Person" contacts with an e-mail address are synchronized.
  • Synchronized fields are:
    • First and last name
    • Primary e-mail address (or first address, if none is defined as primary)
    • Date of birth
    • Tags
  • Any modification made to these fields (name, date of birth, labels) automatically triggers an update in Omnisend.
  • If a contact is deleted in Laylah, it will also be deleted in Omnisend.
  • On the other hand, contacts deleted in Omnisend are not deleted in Laylah.

Please note:

The integration does not retrieve information on recipient behavior (e.g., opens, clicks) or subscription status. This data must be consulted directly in Omnisend.

Also, tags you delete in Laylah are not automatically deleted in Omnisend.  Follow the steps described in the next section to fix this.

Update all tags in Omnisend

Here's how to overcome the limitation of the Omnisend API to update deleted labels in Laylah.

  1. Delete all Laylah contacts imported into Omnisend.
  2. In Laylah, select your Omnisend integration, click on the Option button and select Launch Sync.
